Fast-growing motorcycle tire brand Gumande Tires Philippines has gained valuable market insights following the successful completion of its Lakbay Gumande Visayas Rollout 2026, revealing distinct purchasing behaviors, levels of brand acceptance, and opportunities across key Visayan markets. The 21-day rollout covered Tacloban, Ormoc, Cebu, Bais, Bacolod, and Iloilo, allowing Gumande to engage directly with riders, dealers, and motorcycle communities while strengthening its regional partnerships.

The post-event analysis, shared by Janis Crisostomo, Marketing Manager of Gumande Tires Philippines, showed that each market responds differently to the brand. Tacloban demonstrated openness to new brands when supported by clear value, while Ormoc and Bais were more price-conscious and focused on practical value for money. Cebu emerged as a strong opportunity for conversion, particularly with Gumande’s positioning between quality and affordability, further strengthened by its participation in Makina Cebu. Meanwhile, Bacolod and Iloilo showed encouraging brand acceptance, with riders recognizing the balance of price, quality, and dependable performance offered by Gumande.

The rollout ultimately underscored that there is no single formula for the Visayas market, with each territory requiring a tailored approach to communication, activation, and dealer support. “Lakbay Gumande allowed us to go beyond simply introducing the brand. We were able to listen, understand each market, and build stronger relationships with our dealers and riding communities. After 21 days on the road, one thing became clear, Gumande has found its place in the Visayas, and this is only the beginning,” said Crisostomo. Building on the success of the Visayas initiative, Gumande is now preparing for its Mindanao Rollout, with updates to be announced through Gumande Tires Philippines’ social media channels.
