JAC Philippines is set to introduce its first fully electric vehicle, the All-New Ytterby, a 5-seater hatchback designed to bring innovation, efficiency, and value to urban driving. Launching on September 27, 2024, the Ytterby comes in two variants: the Air 405 and the PRO 505. With ranges of 405 km and 505 km respectively (CLTC), these EVs offer impressive performance, powered by 94 hp and 134 hp motors that deliver 135 Nm and 175 Nm of torque. The battery capacities of 41 kWh (Air 405) and 51.5 kWh (PRO 505) allow for reduced charging stops, perfect for city dwellers.

The All-New Ytterby features an innovative 9-in-1 electric drive system that integrates nine key components like the motor, drive controller, and high-voltage distribution. This system reduces weight by 40% and boosts efficiency by up to 94%, consuming only 10kWh per 100 km. It maximizes interior and trunk space, matching that of larger EVs. The “Bubble Aesthetics Design” gives the Ytterby a sleek, modern exterior, enhanced by features like tri-color petal wheels, concealed electric door handles, and an expansive panoramic skylight for a bright, open interior.

Safety is a priority with the Ytterby, boasting a five-star crash safety rating, six airbags, and a zero thermal runaway honeycomb battery. The 3-in-1 intelligent braking system and a tight 4.95m turning radius ensure agile and safe driving in the city. The PRO 505 model also offers Level 2 Assisted Driving for advanced safety features. Charging is convenient, with a DC fast charger replenishing the battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, and home charging takes 7.5 to 9 hours, depending on the variant.
