KYMCO PH Rolls Out First Batch of the Much-awaited KRV 180i, Another Batch to Arrive Within the Month

After its successful launch towards the end of last year, the first batch of KYMCO KRV 180i units has been rolled out of the KYMCO Philippines plant in Sta. Rosa, Laguna in the past days.An initial 240 units of the KRV 180i DDS variant are now up for grabs at KYMCO dealerships and KYMCO Lifestyle Corner stores nationwide, while another batch is expected to be available within the month.

This KYMCO KRV 180i DDS is powered by a 175cc, 4V Liquid-cooled engine, and is Euro 5 compliant. It is equipped with an aluminum alloy independent swing arm, PTM (Power Transmission Matrix), KSS (Kymco Suspension System), and a rigid frame mounting to improve the rigidity of the motorcycle body, and the scooter body stability and controllability during high-speed and intense riding.

The KRV 180i is also offered in TCS version, which is equipped with Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Keyless system. It has a disc brake front/rear configuration, single USB charging port, and 5-in-1 shutter key.

However, due to the global shortage of microchips (semi-conductor), a vital component that enables the ABS and TCS to function, the arrival of TCS units was be delayed. The KRV 180i TCS version units are expected to arrive within the first quarter of 2022.

KYMCO KRV 180i DDS version is priced at P 168,800 available in 4 colors: Scorching White, Snow Peak Silver, Ether Black, and Indigo Sea blue, while the TCS version has an SRP of P 189,900.
