MDPPA holds road safety seminar among 150 riders in Muntinlupa

Manila, Philippines. May 2017 – Last May 7, the Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association, Inc. (MDPPA) conducted a free seminar among 150 motorcycle riders in Bayanan, Muntinlupa to promote safe driving and road safety.

The seminar aims to impart lessons and tips on responsible driving to motorcycle riders. MDPPA also conducts road safety workshops in various schools in Metro Manila to teach children about road safety, particularly road signs and the proper way of crossing streets.

“We’re giving free seminars such as this to spread proper road safety knowledge and provide riders with safety tips when on the road. We’ll continue to conduct more seminars in different parts of the country,” MDPPA President Armando Reyes said.

Aside from providing road safety seminars to motorcycle riders and children, MDPPA promotes its on-going “Helmet Saves Lives” campaign which highlights the importance of wearing the proper gear when driving motorcycles.
