Motocross Fever: Comeback Race for Sharlet “Baby 920” Gallarde – Highlights from the 28th Sinigayan Invitational Motocross Competition

Motocross enthusiasts from all corners of the Philippines converged in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, for the adrenaline-pumping action of the 28th “Sinigayan” Festival, 2nd Mayor Narciso Narwin Javelosa Jr. Invitational Motocross Sinigayan Festival 2024. This event, pulsating with energy and excitement, underscored the enduring allure of this high-octane sport.

One of the standout moments of the competition was the triumphant return of Sharlet “Baby 920” Gallarde, the reigning Overall Champion and Rider of the Year 2022 for the ladies’ class Teves Cup Series. Despite a more than six-month hiatus due to injury, Gallarde emerged victorious in the Ladies Open category, showcasing unparalleled resilience and unwavering passion. Her win, in her hometown of Sagay City, added an emotional layer to her remarkable achievement.

The competition also featured a formidable lineup of riders from across the nation, including notable contenders such as National riders Ralph and Christian Ramento (Ramento Bros) , Jerick Mitra, Makung Demata and Kemboy Pineda, alongside other riders from Luzon, Cebu, Iloilo, Palawan, and Mindanao.
