When viewed from the top, the shape of the head of Asians tend to be more rounder and wider as opposed to the head of Caucasians which is a bit more narrow and elongated. This is according to the study of SHOEI, a leading manufacturer of premium motorcycle helmets. Giving value comfort as well as safety, the Japanese brand is now offering their products in “Asian fit” to Asian markets.
The J-Cruise+ is the Asian version of the popular open face helmet, the J-Cruise. After trying on both variants, the non-Asian fit felt a bit snug on the sides and there’s a little bit of clearance at the back of the head. The J-Cruise+, on the other hand fit my round Asian nicely.
J-Cruise+ is equipped with smoke colored open/close type “QSV-1 Sun Visor” with minimum, distortion. It protects vision from strong sunlight and can be opened or closed easily by handling of lever against a change of weather or sudden change of lightness in a tunnel. It is an innovative open-face helmet in which a vision can be adjusted easily corresponding to conditions without having 2 shields of clear and smoke in touring.
The J-Cruise+ and other SHOEI products are sold and distributed by Motoworld Philippines.
