Suzuki Celebrates Over a Century of Heritage at RidePH’s MotoHeritage Weekend 2023

Suzuki commemorates its remarkable heritage spanning more than a century at RidePH’s Philippine MotoHeritage Weekend 2023, held at the Filinvest Tent on September 23-24, 2023. As one of the pioneering Japanese motorcycle manufacturers globally, Suzuki boasts a rich history that dates back to its inception.

Suzuki, a venerable 103-year-old brand established in Hamamatsu, Japan, initially started as a manufacturer of weaving machines. It ventured into the motorcycle industry in the 1950s with the introduction of the Suzuki Power Free 36cc, a 2-cycle auxiliary bicycle engine. Since then, driven by the Japanese dedication to continuous improvement, Suzuki has crafted extraordinary vehicles. These include the iconic Hayabusa, often likened to a Peregrine Falcon, championship-winning motorcycles like the GSX-R series in MotoGP, endurance bikes, daily commuters, and adventure motorcycles that have transported us to picturesque destinations. These motorcycles have created cherished memories passed down through generations.
