Suzuki Philippines Opens First 3S Shop in Surigao del Sur, Expanding Reach in Mindanao

Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) continues to strengthen its presence in Mindanao with the grand opening of the Suzuki Tandag Bykewheel 3S Shop—its first dealership in the province of Surigao del Sur. This milestone underscores the company’s commitment to bringing its signature Sales, Service, and Spare Parts (3S) experience closer to Filipino riders, making quality motorcycles and dependable aftersales support more accessible across the region.

The newly inaugurated facility is designed to deliver a convenient and comprehensive dealership experience. Spanning 221 square meters, the 3S Shop features a spacious showroom that highlights Suzuki’s diverse motorcycle lineup, alongside dedicated service and operational areas. By integrating product display, maintenance services, and genuine spare parts availability in one location, the dealership ensures a seamless and reliable ownership journey for customers.

The grand opening celebration brought together key representatives from Suzuki Philippines and the Rhean Group of Companies. Leading the ceremony were Mr. Yukio Sato, General Manager for After Sales Division; Mr. Daigo Morikawa, Assistant to the Motorcycle Sales and Marketing Division Head; Mr. Cyril Aguadera, Motorcycle Marketing Department Head; and Mr. Dave Obrial, Regional Sales Manager for Mindanao. They were joined by Engr. Edgar T. Lao, CEO and General Manager of Rhean Group; Mrs. Jeanne B. Lao, Executive Vice President for Finance; and Mrs. Jireh Jeanne L. Ang, Vice President for Operations of Rhean’s Motorcycle Division. The program featured a blessing ceremony, symbolizing prosperity and success, along with festive traditions that engaged the local community.

Adding excitement to the event was the official introduction of the Suzuki V-STROM 160 and DR160, reinforcing the brand’s focus on versatility and adventure-ready motorcycles. Attendees gained insights into the models through technical presentations, product showcases, and an interactive question-and-answer session. The celebration continued with a ceremonial toast, symbolic release of motorcycle units, and afternoon activities including live entertainment, a motor show, contests, and a free service campaign for selected customers.

In his message, Mr. Daigo Morikawa emphasized that the Tandag 3S Shop represents more than an expansion—it reflects Suzuki’s growing connection with the Mindanao riding community. He highlighted the importance of the company’s partnership with Bykewheel Inc., under the Rhean Group of Companies, a trusted name in motorcycle parts and service. Strategically located at Purok Million, San Agustin Sur, Tandag City, the dealership is now ready to serve customers across Surigao del Sur and nearby areas.
