Suzuki Raider Underground Battle 2026 Kicks Off Nationwide Celebration of the Underbone King

Suzuki Philippines officially launched the Raider Underground Battle 2026 at The Lima Outlets in Batangas, marking the beginning of a nationwide celebration of the Raider’s legacy, performance, and street culture. The South Luzon leg brought together 1,059 attendees, including motorcycle clubs, riding groups, trade partners, and independent riders, for a full day of activities featuring a custom-bike contest, Hyperspeed Challenge, Power Speed Precision Gymkhana Challenge, trade partner displays, Biker Babe competition, motovlogger meet-and-greet, stage games, and raffles.

The event also highlighted the performance of the Suzuki Raider R150 and Raider PRO, showcasing the models’ racing-inspired DNA and continued influence in the underbone community. Suzuki Philippines President Koichiro Hiraowelcomed the riders and emphasized the importance of the Raider community in sustaining the model’s legacy. “Together, we will grow this community, inspire the next generation of riders, and show everyone why the Raider remains the undisputed King of Underbones,” Hirao said. Managing Director Norminio C. Mojica likewise recognized generations of Raider owners for keeping the culture alive, noting that their passion and loyalty continue to make the Raider the country’s benchmark underbone motorcycle.

Customization and competition took center stage throughout the event. The Custom-Bike Contest attracted 65 entries, with riders showcasing their creativity across various concepts and categories. Niky Vergara won the Custom Bike category, Leomar Mejica topped the Concept Bike category, and Manuel Fernando took the Engine Set-Up title, while additional awards recognized Indo, Street GP, Thai, and Malaysian-inspired builds. The Hyperspeed Battle further tested speed and control aboard the Raider R150, with John Francis Aldovino emerging as champion, while Jonnel Lasquitewon the Power Speed Precision Gymkhana Challenge aboard the Raider PRO, demonstrating exceptional agility and technical riding skills.

Beyond performance and customization, Raider Underground Battle 2026 celebrated the wider culture surrounding Filipino riders. Mikaela Mariel L. Que was crowned Biker Babe, while appearances by motovloggers and content creators including Reed Motovlog, Bossbabe Anna Lhi, Asian Pakboi, Jawo Motovlog, The Karlo Salonga Show, Hammer Man, NEG X GELA, and Anghel sa Lupa added to the event’s energy.
