The Return of a Local Icon: Kia Philippines Launches the All-New Sportage Turbo Hybrid

MANILA, Philippines – July 24, 2026 – Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, officially launches the all-new fifth-generation Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid, marking the return of one of the country’s pioneering compact SUVs. Reimagined under Kia’s global “Movement That Inspires” philosophy, the latest Sportage combines its trusted heritage with bold styling, electrified performance, and advanced technologies, offering Filipino motorists a premium hybrid SUV designed for both everyday driving and weekend adventures.

Built around Kia’s signature “Opposites United” design language, the new Sportage features the iconic Tiger Nose grille, Star-Map Signature LED headlamps, projector fog lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a Smart Power Tailgate that enhance both style and practicality. Powering the SUV is a 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid engine paired with a 1.49kWh lithium-ion battery, producing a combined 235 PS and 367 Nm of torque. The electrified powertrain delivers responsive acceleration, impressive efficiency, and refined driving dynamics suited for urban commuting and long-distance travel alike.

Inside, the new Sportage offers a premium cabin equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, premium leather seats, and either a six-speaker audio system or an eight-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system depending on the variant. Customers can choose from Heritage Blue, Wolf Grey, Snow White Pearl, and Gravity Grey (SX), while the EX is available in Wolf Grey, Snow White Pearl, and Gravity Grey.
