Unveiled at the prestigious SM Aura in Taguig City, the 2024 Corolla Cross marks a significant milestone in Toyota’s electrification journey. President Masando Hashimoto underscored its pivotal role in accelerating the adoption of hybrid technology, reflecting on TMP’s pioneering efforts since 2009 and the remarkable surge in xEV sales following the Corolla Cross’s debut in 2020.

With over 4,000 electrified Corolla Cross vehicles already traversing Filipino roads, and an impressive total of 13,000 electrified Toyota and Lexus models embraced by forward-thinking customers, TMP continues to lead the charge towards a greener automotive landscape.

Starting at an accessible price of PHP 1,498,000 for the G HEV variant, the new Corolla Cross expands TMP’s lineup of eco-conscious vehicles, making sustainable living more attainable for Filipinos.

ELEVATED STYLE & FUNCTIONALITY The V HEV and G HEV variants boast a redesigned mesh-like grille with hexagonal outlines, while the GR-S HEV variant retains its signature stylish front façade.

Enhanced LED headlamps with automatic high beam (AHB) and sequential turn signals adorn the V HEV and GR-S HEV variants, while the G HEV variant sees an upgrade from halogen to LED lamps.

Furthermore, both the GR-S HEV and V HEV variants now feature a power back door with a kick sensor, elevating convenience and accessibility. The GR-S HEV variant offers additional premium touches like a panoramic view monitor camera and a panoramic moonroof.

Inside, all variants are adorned with LED interior lamps and a luxurious leather steering wheel, with the foot brake replaced by an electronic parking brake (EPB) for added modernity.

Equipped with a 12.3-inch fully digital multi-information display (MID) for the GR-S HEV, a 7-inch thin-film-transistor (TFT) MID for the V HEV, and a 4.2-inch TFT MID for the G HEV, the new Corolla Cross ensures an immersive driving experience.

The GR-S and V variants come equipped with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), featuring advanced safety technologies like Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

Hashimoto emphasized that the enhancements made to the Corolla Cross are part of Toyota’s commitment to nurturing the iconic Corolla brand, which has sold over 50 million units worldwide since its inception in 1966.

In addition to the Corolla Cross, TMP offers the Corolla Altis sedan, which introduced an HEV variant in 2019, further extending the Corolla legacy into the realm of electrification.
