MANILA, Philippines – VinFast E-Motorcycle Philippines is redefining the electric motorcycle experience with its One-Minute Swap battery-swapping system, designed to make electric mobility faster, more convenient, and more affordable for Filipino riders. Available across VinFast’s electric motorcycle lineup, including the newly launched Feliz II, the system allows riders to exchange a depleted battery for a fully charged one in about a minute. Developed by VinFast in partnership with V-Green, the growing network is planned to reach around 30,000 swap stations nationwide, strategically located at VinFast dealerships, partner motorcycle shops, malls, and gas stations. By offering a quick alternative to conventional charging, the system aims to make switching to electric as seamless as stopping for fuel.
The One-Minute Swap offers several advantages that address the everyday needs of Filipino commuters, delivery riders, and ride-hailing drivers. Beyond saving time, the battery subscription model lowers the upfront cost of ownership and provides access to the swap network for a starting fee of ₱439 per month, with the first 12 months free for up to 20 swaps per month. Riders can also charge their batteries at home in around three to four hours for one battery or six to eight hours for two batteries, while swapping provides a convenient option when additional range is needed immediately. VinFast estimates that its electric motorcycles can deliver total ownership costs around 25% lower than comparable gasoline motorcycles over five years, while the battery subscription model also addresses long-term battery concerns through maintenance and a commitment to replace the battery free of charge once its health falls below the prescribed performance threshold.
At the center of this battery-swapping experience is the VinFast Feliz II, which officially arrived in the Philippines alongside the Evo and Viper on July 31, 2026. Designed as a practical electric motorcycle for everyday Filipino mobility, the Feliz II offers up to 145 kilometers of range with two batteries, a top speed of 90 km/h, and a spacious design capable of accommodating a family of three. Its IP67 waterproof rating also provides added confidence when navigating sudden Philippine downpours. With its combination of practical performance and VinFast’s quick-swap ecosystem, the Feliz II demonstrates how battery swapping can make electric mobility more accessible, flexible, and worry-free for everyday riders.
