Manila, Philippines — Yamaha Motor Philippines officially introduces the all-new Mio Gear S, a motorcycle designed to complement today’s active urban lifestyles through functionality, adaptability, and everyday practicality. Built around the philosophy “Play Your Way,” the Mio Gear S evolves Yamaha’s identity from urban toughness into a new movement centered on freedom, flexibility, and personal rhythm. More than just a motorcycle, the Mio Gear S is built for people constantly on the move — from work and workouts to hobbies, errands, social activities, and spontaneous city adventures.

Recognizing how movement has become part of modern city living, Yamaha developed the Mio Gear S to naturally adapt to changing routines and environments throughout the day. As today’s generation embraces multiple lifestyles instead of following a single routine, the Mio Gear S delivers the versatility needed for everyday mobility. Compact, agile, and functional, the motorcycle supports riders as they navigate busy streets, fitness sessions, content creation, meetups, and everything in between.

To introduce this new movement-driven philosophy, Yamaha launched the Mio Gear S through the immersive “Play Lab” experience — an interactive environment featuring different lifestyle zones inspired by movement, agility, endurance, flexibility, and fitness. The experiential launch transformed the product reveal into a lifestyle-centered event, reinforcing how the Mio Gear S naturally fits different personalities and ways of moving through the city. Through “Play Your Way,” Yamaha empowers riders to move through life on their own terms while enjoying reliable and practical mobility every day.

The all-new Mio Gear S continues Yamaha’s tradition of delivering practicality and durability through a range of rider-focused features. It comes equipped with an 18.6-liter underseat storage compartment, spacious footboard, multi-function grab bar, sturdy cargo hooks, and a narrow seat design that improves ground reach while maintaining comfort. The back-step design enhances convenience even when carrying larger items, while the 5.1-liter fuel tank allows longer rides with fewer fuel stops. Designed for confidence in city riding, the Mio Gear S also features 12-inch wide tubeless tires, bright LED headlights, and hazard lights for added visibility and stability in various riding conditions.

Powering the Mio Gear S is Yamaha’s new 125cc Air-Cooled Blue Core Hybrid Engine with Smart Motor Generator technology, combining fuel efficiency with smoother and quicker acceleration through Electric Power Assist. It also features Yamaha’s Stop & Start System to reduce fuel consumption during idle situations. Adding convenience to the riding experience are the large Digital Meter Panel, Electric Power Socket for gadget charging, and Yamaha’s Answer-Back System for easier motorcycle location in crowded parking areas. Finished with active styling and a compact lightweight design, the Mio Gear S is built for riders who live actively, move differently, and create their own rhythm every day. Available in Ceramic Gray, Basalt Gray, and Matte Brown, the all-new Mio Gear S is now available nationwide with a suggested retail price of PHP 81,900. Because today, there is no single way to move — Play Your Way.
