YAMAHA PHILIPPINES RACING TEAM EYES CONTINUED MOMENTUM AT ARRC ROUND 3 IN JAPAN

Motegi, Japan – Yamaha Motor Philippines returns to the international stage this weekend for Round 3 of the 2026 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) at the iconic Mobility Resort Motegi in Japan. Armed with renewed confidence following a strong showing in Thailand, the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team is determined to continue its upward trajectory as it takes on some of Asia’s best riders from June 12 to 14. The team enters the round focused on building momentum and delivering competitive performances across both the Supersport 600 and Underbone 150 categories.

Leading Yamaha’s charge is McKinley Kyle Paz, who arrives in Japan fresh from his breakthrough podium finish in the Supersport 600 class while racing for the Hong Leong Yamaha Racing Team. After overcoming adversity in Thailand and bouncing back with a podium result in Race 2, Paz has demonstrated both resilience and race-winning potential. With confidence at a season-high level, he now aims to translate that momentum into another strong performance at one of Japan’s most demanding circuits.

In the highly competitive Underbone 150 category, Yamaha Racetech Philippines Racing Team riders April King Mascardo and Timothy Rojas continue their development on the international stage. Mascardo remains focused on converting his growing experience into stronger race finishes, while Rojas continues to gain valuable lessons with every lap against some of the region’s top competitors. Together, the pair represent Yamaha’s commitment to nurturing Filipino talent capable of competing at the highest levels of motorcycle racing in Asia.

Mobility Resort Motegi presents a unique challenge that will test every rider’s speed, precision, and consistency. For Yamaha Philippines, however, the objective remains unchanged: continue progressing, keep pushing boundaries, and prove they belong among Asia’s elite racers. With lessons learned from previous rounds, confidence gained through hard-fought results, and an unwavering drive to improve, the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team heads into Round 3 ready to embrace the challenge and continue its pursuit of success on the international stage.
