Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), together with its Mandaue dealer partner Iconic Dealership, Inc. (IDI) and local government units, extended aid to communities in Cebu affected by Typhoon Tino by distributing essential relief supplies to 250 families. The initiative reflects IPC’s continued commitment to social responsibility and community partnership, especially in areas still recovering from the devastating impact of the typhoon that struck in November 2025.

Cebu was among the hardest-hit provinces, experiencing severe flooding and widespread damage that left many underprivileged families in need months after the disaster. Relief packs containing canned goods, drinking water, and sacks of rice were prepared to help support ongoing recovery efforts. Led by IPC Human Resources Supervisor Kathryn Francisco, Isuzu Mandaue Branch Manager Eufemio Ybañez, and representatives from partner LGUs, the distribution reached communities in Lilo-an, Cotcot, Consolacion, and Laray, with IPC’s Isuzu Mobile Medic unit assisting in the efficient transport of supplies.
“IPC is not only a responsible partner to our customers but also to communities in need,” said Francisco, emphasizing the company’s commitment to giving back in times of hardship. Echoing this sentiment, Ybañez shared that witnessing the resilience of affected families reinforced their dedication to supporting fellow Cebuanos, while local barangay officials expressed gratitude for the timely assistance. The initiative underscores IPC’s mission to remain a reliable partner to Filipinos—both on the road and during times of crisis.
