GAC Philippines has officially launched the 2026 EMZOOM, the latest evolution of its popular subcompact crossover. Designed for modern Filipino drivers, the refreshed model introduces a more refined exterior, upgraded interior technology, and enhanced comfort features, strengthening its position in the competitive small SUV segment.
The 2026 EMZOOM is offered in two variants: the GB and the sportier R-Style. Both variants feature a redesigned exterior with a new grille design and sharper styling elements, powered by a 1.5 TGDI engine paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Delivering 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque, the model balances efficiency with strong everyday performance suitable for city and highway driving.
Inside, the EMZOOM receives a significant technology upgrade led by a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone integration. Higher trims add premium features such as ventilated seats, wireless charging, and advanced driver assistance systems including blind spot video monitoring and intelligent parking assistance. According to GAC, the EMZOOM—previously known as GS3 EMZOOM with over 8,000 units sold locally—continues to evolve to meet growing customer expectations in comfort, safety, and connectivity.
GAC International Senior VP Steven Wang highlighted the model as a key pillar of the brand’s Philippine lineup, emphasizing its blend of “refined quality and dynamic performance.” He also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to long-term customer support, backed by an expanding dealership network, robust parts availability, and global manufacturing standards developed through long-standing partnerships with Toyota and Honda.

The higher-spec R-Style is priced at PHP 1,159,900, featuring sportier styling, 18-inch wheels, ventilated seats, advanced ADAS features, and premium finishes—making it the more feature-rich option for buyers seeking a sport-focused yet tech-loaded SUV experience.
The 2026 EMZOOM maintains its 1.5 TGDI turbo engine producing 174 hp and 270 Nm across both variants, focusing on balanced performance and efficiency while differentiating trims through design, comfort, and advanced driver assistance features.
