Ride PH Explores South in the 2023 Philippine Moto Heritage Journey

One of the most active riding communities is based in the South of Manila. Motorcycle and scooter owners from Makati, Paranaque, Bicutan all the way to Cavite, Batangas and Laguna are all in for a treat as Ride PH brings the fun to the Filinvest Tent in Alabang.

The Philippine Moto Heritage Weekend is an annual event that seeks to unite the vibrant motorcycle community—fostering connections, camaraderie, and shared passions across thousands. The event aims to bring riders, enthusiasts, and industry leaders together in order to foster greater appreciation and development for motorcycles and rider culture in the country. In the event, some of the world’s rarest collectible, antique, vintage, and classic motorcycles and scooters are revealed.

Coinciding with Ride Ph Production’s 6th anniversary, the Moto Heritage Weekend 2023 will feature special bikes from the past with unparalleled back stories. Take for example, the mega rare 50’s Vincent “Black Shadow,” which was unveiled in pristine condition during last year’s Moto Heritage show opening. Similarly, in an auction last year, a Vincent motorbike was sold at $1,000,000. Furthermore, in previous Moto Heritage events, sightings of unicorn vintage Euro scooters from well established brands namely Vespa and Lambretta were all participants to the Bike Show. Our audience may expect that this year’s bike reveals will not fail to take the hearts of even the most seasoned of riders.

Jay Taruc, President of Ride PH Productions, gives us an overview for this year’s Moto Heritage Weekend: “This year, as our poster art suggests, a lot of vintage American cruisers will be seen. We will continue to maintain the quality and standards of the selection process for Bike Show participants.”

Aside from the Bike Show, the Philippine Moto Heritage 2023 will continue to serve free coffee, courtesy of SGD Coffee, to rider attendees. The Art Space will feature fresh new works from our notable artist friends who are also riders. “Learn How to Ride ” will be facilitated by top notch motorcycle riding coaches Mel Aquino and instructors from Motorcycle Riding School where newbie or aspiring riders will have the opportunity to learn how to drive a motorcycle as long as they have had prior experience riding a bicycle. Riders will also be able to get their hands on the ride of their dreams as they join Motor Clyde during the Test Rides throughout the event. Coach Mel will have an activity for the youngsters as well and Motor Clyde will hold the most anticipated “Great Slow Race” this weekend.

Our riders better watch out for fun games to be held at the test ride areas for the whole weekend. Exciting presentations and collaborations will be featured on stage as well. There will be best-dressed rider competitions for male, female, toddler, and pet categories on both days—so our attendees better suit up! Of course, the display booths from our partners and sponsors will always be there to dazzle all the attendees with prizes and giveaways.

“It has been a gathering of friends and fellow enthusiasts from the motorcycle industry and the community celebrating one passion which is motorcycles. So, everyone is welcome! Bring the whole family.”
