Suzuki Philippines Enhances Land Transportation Office’s Operational Goals

Suzuki Philippines Incorporated extends its full support to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in pursuit of its operational goals, contributing vehicles that will aid in the agency’s practical driving examinations and law enforcement initiatives. On October 5, six units of motor vehicles were officially handed over at LTO’s Main Branch on East Ave. in Manila. Receiving these vehicles were the LTO’s officers, led by LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II, on behalf of Team Suzuki, represented by President Koichiro Hirao and Managing Director Norminio Mojica.

Suzuki Philippines, dedicated to the cause of Road Safety, aligns itself with the LTO’s commitment to enhance land transportation services and infrastructure while ensuring the effective implementation of transportation laws, rules, and regulations. During the turnover ceremony, Mr. Hirao expressed his hopes that these vehicles would significantly boost the agency’s operational efficiency. Mr. Mojica further highlighted Suzuki’s enduring partnership with the LTO and shared plans for future initiatives aimed at promoting road safety among motorists.

Assistant Secretary Atty. Mendoza acknowledged the importance of these vehicles for the LTO, emphasizing how they would enhance the agency’s enforcement capabilities. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to Suzuki, recognizing the positive impact of brand new vehicles on the morale of the agency’s enforcers.

Suzuki Philippines generously donated five units of Avenis scooters and one unit of S-Presso to the agency. Other notable attendees at the event included LTO Chief for Law Enforcement Service Francis Rey Almora, Chief of Operations Division Kathleen Salayog, Property Office OIC Jeany Torres, Chief of Human Resources Ladielyn Fuderan, as well as Ramon G. Reyes and Atty. Greg Pua. Suzuki Motorcycles Marketing Strategy Manager Nenuka Guba also graced the occasion.
